Project explores the relationship between photography and people, and photography as a tool that people use both in everyday life and in art.
I remember a time when photography served only one purpose in my life - to document reality, life and memories. While thinking about this I understood that photography is used to create an archive of one’s life and sometimes photography can be more powerful that the memories in our minds. In the project, photography is also shown as a play with self-identification, documenting oneself, one’s life and people around.
Photography, especially in the modern digital era, is often seen only on screen, therefore objects in the exhibition represent the photography’s power to also influence our physical reality.
